October is the peak of fall colors at Independence Oaks, so you will be running and walking through some of the most wonderfully decorated hardwood forests in southeastern Michigan, as well as on wood chip trails. Choose from any of three races of varying lengths - all beginning and ending at the same location.

Free Food Distribution

Holy Spirit Lutheran Church will be offering free food to those in need on a first come-first served basis beginning at 9:00am. There is no income requirement to receive food. We will offer them on the third Sat. of each month through Oct.. Volunteers, please arrive at 8:00am (park at the Sikh temple lot just south of the church.
